Friends of Strings of Alamo Heights is a nonprofit 501(c)3 dedicated to supporting the String Music  Program in Alamo Heights ISD. Made up of parents and volunteers from our community, FoS members are motivated to support and secure necessary funding at a level that reflects and maintains the instruction our students are receiving in their string ensemble groups. Where other public school districts may be struggling to keep Strings programs available due to budget restrictions, FoS aims to bridge the financial gap and ensure that enrollment in the Strings program is available to every student starting as early as 4th grade.
